Harmonious Dichotomy

Artist's Thoughts: This piece depicts the Swedish concept of joy in a life of moderation; not too much, not too little. So often we are focused on the new, shiny things changing the way we interact with the world around us that we forget the importance of grounding ourselves in the roots that construct our rawest perception of reality. Conversely, we can be so stuck in our ways, too blinded by the perception of the "good ole days" that we neglect the realities lying before us and the good that difference can bring. Balance is key.
